Fight Germs and Open Airways with an Essential Oil Steam Tent

Research has shown that many essential oils fight germs (1). And it makes sense since plants which essential oils are derived from, have to fight germs day and night. Diffusing essential oils is a great way to clear the air of germs. But sometimes when you feel like you're on the edge of being under the weather or you're already feeling unwell, you may need to do a bit more with your oils to fight germs. A steam tent using essential oils can be extremely helpful. Creating a steam tent is easy. You just need a glass or ceramic bowl, hot water, a drop of essential oil or blend, and a towel. Pour the hot water into the bowl, add a drop of oil or oil blend, close your eyes. cover your head with a towel and breathe in the steam. Adding a drop of essential oil or a blend can help thwart germs, open airways, reduce inflammation, and help you feel better faster. You can try a single oil such as tea tree, peppermint, or eucaplytus. Or you can try a blend. Pressure's Off blend is designed to help support sinus health. You can diffuse and steam with this blend or even incorporate it into a chest rub. And can be used alongside antibiotics.
